A native of the Ivory Coast in West Africa, Bernard K. Kama lives in Potomac, Maryland, with his wife, Mona Lisa P. Kama. He holds a masters degree in accounting from Southeastern University in Washington, D.C., and is currently a Ph.D. candidate for George Washington University. Kama is the president and CEO of Remedy Care Management, Inc., and has three children: Bernard, Jr.; Billy; and Julia. In addition to writing, he enjoys tennis and boxing.
