Better Corporate Back Office Leadership And Management: A Back Office Perspective, Principles And How-To Practices
Management skills and leadership skills go hand in hand, but they are not the same thing. In Better Corporate Back Office Leadership and Management, Charles E. LeFurge details the qualities of each. Combining his many years of military experience with his experience in the corporate arena, LeFurge has developed a common-sense approach to both management and leadership that can lead to success for yourself, your staff, and your company. He emphasizes the importance of working with subordinate staff and making them an integral part of the process. He firmly believes that motivated employees make more productive employees. He also examines processes for tracking job efficiency by a scorecard method to ensure the best results for the company. Throughout the work, LeFurge shares his training experience, including several PowerPoint presentations, which further illustrate his ideas. This book is a must-read for those in supervisory or other management positions who wish to enhance their skills.
