Rousseau holds a bachelors of science degree in Elementary Education and a masters of science degree in Educational Computing from Iona College. Presently, she is employed by the City School District. Rousseau has served as president of Pi Lambda Theta (The International Educational Honor Society) Delta Epsilon Chapter and is a current member of the Association for Childhood Education.
