The Sabbath
Benjamin Seay lost his wife because he was doing something he loved. Now, after making a promise to dedicate his life to God, Benjamin has become a priest. Being a priest is not something he enjoys, and for him, it includes the unexpected: the confessions of criminals.
Faced with the burden of his sacred oath before God and the knowledge of horrendous crimes in his city, Father Benjamin is a tortured soul in every sense of the word. When the confessions begin to include his ex-wife and her family, Benjamin has a difficult choice to make: Should he keep the vows of the priesthood and keep mum about the confessions, or should he intervene? He is tormented with the choice between breaking his word to his God and protecting his city from vicious crimes. Either way, there is no rest for Benjamin Seayno Sabbath.
