I am honored to be writing the first review for this phenomenal book. As soon as I received this book, as soon as I touched it, I felt a wave of delight wash over me. Let me explain. I could feel the love for God, the love for Jesus Christ that went into this book. The poems that are in this book will truly truly bless you. You will see the love for God and the Savior, articulated in such a graceful way. This is a book of true love for the Lord, it is a beyond blessing to have in your hands, to possess. It is a divine treasure. I pray it blesses you as much as it has blessed me. May God continue to touch the hands, mind, and heart, of such a brilliant man of God, Mr. George Hayes. God's Own Heart by George Hayes is a devotional read of multiple poems written by the author during a time of intimate time of His love. The poems specifically refer to faith and the total love and devotion that represents the relationship one has for God. Each poem has scripture reference that one can definitely find. The poems range from Christs Life to Thankfulness to Mercy, something for every devotee. Each poem is refreshing and has something to learn and take away from. These poems make a wholesome time for any people of faith. The author is exceptional with his words and the message is endearing. A must have.

This book is an astoundingly well-developed book of religious poetry, and what is peculiar about it is the way the author succeeded at weaving together artistic expressions and spiritual insights. Poems are a page or a page and a half long, and they all enthusiastically resonate within us when we finish reading them.The structure of the book was well-thought-out, since it guides readers through a journey of self-discovery and spiritual growth. All the poems are organized thematically, making it easy to find and revisit verses that speak to specific aspects of life.It was hard for me to choose one and make it my favorite, but I guess that the one titled Today is a real gem. As the poem begins: ‘Such a blessing to be in the land of the living while it’s still called today’.
