The professional life of W. Frank McArthur, Jr. PhD was in education. His last 30 years were in university teaching and administration. He served as a Professor, Chairman of a Music Department, Dean of a School of Arts and Sciences, and a university Vice president of Academic Affairs.

For forty-two years, W. Frank McArthur, Jr. PhD served as a church choir director. He has been married for sixty-four years and has two children who are doctors. He is also a proud grandparent of eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
