As a teacher, Howard K Lewis Jr became fascinated by his students’ stories, stories of their origins, cultures, religions, and all their unique talents and traits. In Our Culture, he has compiled several of his own students’ stories into one fun, engaging read for children of all ages—adults included!—to celebrate the beautiful opportunities the US has provided to children from all over the globe. With each cultural difference, there is a deep appreciation for how diverse our world is—and, perhaps, just how alike we all can be.

Howard K Lewis Jr is an educator and enjoys helping children become better readers. He especially loves to give light to the students’ love of art and illustration, aiding them in seeing what wonderful opportunities await with their talent.

Lewis has three brothers and two sisters.
