Soul's Dance
Souls Dance studies the body and movement, its primary expression and dance its artistic form, as a method to care for the soul in terms of the healing arts and creative exploration of existential struggles and quests in life. Dance expressed in a creative interplay among the three levels of awareness movements, feelings, thoughts and images can be a powerful healing tool of expressive arts therapy. As the dancer embodies and enacts her life stories metaphorically, permitting the unfolding of authentic self-expression, she embraces the paradox of change, and movement becomes a vehicle for transformation. Souls Dance is designed to support and encourage our ability to move into fuller contact with ourselves, with others, and with the world in our own unique and creative way, allowing us to experience life on a soul level.
