Let's Talk Trees
Let’s Talk Trees compares and contrasts tree families to family trees. Barkley, a tulip poplar tree and the book’s narrator, introduces readers to his tree family and guides readers to use their senses to discover ways that his tree family and the readers’ family trees are alike and different.
Co-authored by botanist Adrian Bambini and his wife, Linda Bambini, a retired teacher, combines his horticultural background with her English grammar and composition skills to write an interactive book that encourages analytical thinking, beyond simple recall or observation.
Let’s Talk Trees offers facts and fun for readers of all ages as it includes tree activities, trivia questions, riddles, and a listing of National Champion Trees and all 50 State Trees. Children, parents, and teachers alike will find Let’s Talk Trees both educational as well as entertaining.
