Join the anticipation of Steve Canyons journey back in time, as he reads his late grandmothers personal accounts of his familys experiences with love and death against the backdrop of the Great Depression, World War II, and other historical events from 1940-1988. A Vietnam veteran striving to navigate the challenges of his own life, Steve learns much about himself and his family, causing him to readjust his vision of the world and his own identity. Little does he know that his grandmothers writings will reveal a family secret that will change his life. Dear Anna intertwines contemporary times with the past by combining narrative with letters, journal entries, and recollections.
