Regular price $9.00

In her life, Beverly Jeane Ray has experienced a myriad of events, personal and national, happy and sad, major and minor. In this collection she has formed a poetic tribute to these events, including births, Christmas celebrations, marriages, vacations, friendships, graduations, anniversaries, family gatherings, and national tragedies such as a space shuttle explosion and the death of Princess Diana. She also celebrates some of the simple pleasures in life such as the power of reading, the joy of baking, and the fun of summer picnics. With each poem, the love that Ray feels for the members of her family and friends becomes more and more tangible, and she offers them encouragement and advice with this love. Her optimistic and lighthearted tone and her clean and simple style make these poems a joy to read for younger readers and those young at heart.
