Just For The Pillow: A Collection Of Short Stories
This charming collection of modern freestyle verse ranges over a variety of experiences reflecting a life of turmoil and of struggle. The author is not embittered; rather he is pensive and thoughtful as he relives some of the difficulties he confronted in real life. There is an air of melancholy that permeates these works, but hope has not been lost. This melancholy persists as he addresses contemporary happenings, particularly the tragedy of September 11. Those poems reflect a pleas for peace and understanding, but one feels that the poet does not believe that such is likely. It is only the authors faith that keeps him from despair.
