The Doggie Trip is a story about two dogs, Basil and Barnie. They need a home, and they know someone who will adopt them. However, they must go through a series of exciting, and sometimes fearful, events to get there!

Helen Olian currently lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she enjoys writing rhymed verse for children. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, she attended the University of Pittsburgh, where she graduated with a degree in history. She enjoys reading and bicycling. This is her third published book.
