Patrick Kelly thought he’d left his small-town roots behind when he landed a coveted position at the prestigious Washington, DC, accounting firm of Caulfield & Gallagher. Armed with a 3.9 GPA and ironclad ethics, he was determined to prove that honest work and clear rules could lead to success, even if his credentials came from Mountain State Community College, not Harvard Business School.

But when Patrick’s unexpected knowledge of firearms earns him a spot on the independent audit team for ArmaCore, an international weapons manufacturer, he discovers that the corporate world isn't as black and white as his accounting ledgers. Numbers can lie. Rules can bend. And the moral flexibility he refused to inherit from his gun-dealing, preacher father may be exactly what he needs to survive.

Caught between his pursuit of ethical success and the dangerous realities of big-money weapons manufacturing, Patrick must navigate a world where a single audit could expose deadly secrets or destroy everything he’s worked to achieve. In Washington’s corridors of power, the difference between right and wrong isn't always clear, and sometimes the most dangerous weapon isn't made of steel.

A gripping crime thriller that explores the price of integrity in a world built on compromise, The Gun Auditor delivers pulse-pounding suspense with authentic characters you won't forget.
