In this how-to parenting guide, Denny Burda provides a refreshing, no-nonsense approach to parenting difficult teens. With each passing generation, teenagers seem to be getting more and more unruly and undisciplined. According to Ms. Burda, all they need is a strong hand and tough love and retraining parents. Inspired by her struggles with foster care and the troubled teens brought into her home, she sheds light on an unappreciated profession: parenthood. Witty and humorous, Burdas powerful words shine in this personal and direct approach on raising children, offering a perspective rarely expressed: that of a foster parent.
