After forty-two years of practicing law and completing over 300 trials to verdict with an 85% success rate (jury trials, court trials and administrative proceedings), my goal is to remove the mystery of trial and provide law students, new attorneys, veteran attorneys and legal staffers with the formula to be prepared, confident and achieve the optimum level of success.

People, Institutions and Best Outcomes - A Journey through the Courts

A practical, engaging and inspirational journey through the trials and courts. I followed a few of those trials and noted how Jack combined a good spirited and tenacious approach with his compass set North on the right outcomes for people and the community .

Exceptional and Succinct Read!

Having had the pleasure of working in local government with Jack Govi for 20 years, I can attest to the fact that he is by far the most organized attorney I have ever met. He is sharing with the reader skills that he has learned over the course of a lifetime. This book would be valuable to every newly minted attorney so that they can begin their career with exceptional skills that otherwise would take years to learn.

Great book—useful and enjoyable

This is a great nuts-and-bolts guide for both new and experienced lawyers. It is full of real-life examples of how the author’s strategies and good habits, developed over time, led to great outcomes in court. The author is not afraid to remind about the simple but easy to slide-on things, like diligence in investigation, the problems with assuming things, and the importance of knowing the facts of your case cold. It inspired me to up my game, for sure! I recommend this book.
