Nancy Saben Brown’s Grandfather George bought a little spotted cow as a gift for his two daughters when they were young—Freckles the Cow!

This book shares the story of two girls, a pet cow, and a valuable lesson learned. Though not every unfortunate situation in life can be fixed, it still remains that caring, fairness, cooperation, and helping others is always the charitable, and the right thing to do.

Readers of Freckles the Cow will enjoy being reminded of a favorite pet or family connections and the wonderful memories that were made.

I am pleased with the finished story woven around my mother and aunt and their pet cow, Freckles....

I hope my readers enjoy and share it with the young people in their lives.
