If you cannot get enough of the 1930s detective fiction, and thought you read it all, Richard Olson has provided us with a novel that is worth picking up to read. You will not be disappointed. Usual beatings, blood around the mouth, drawn into a courtroom case and a conspiracy that weaves in and out of sexy damsels, and references of Humphrey Bogart and James Cagney on top. I don't want to give away much of the plot but this private eye has all the classic trademarks you expect -- and want -- in a detective novel. Wish there were more like this. Enjoy the adventures of Nick Stihl with this novel.
