Deke Rivers cant help that hes a hit with the ladies he is a charismatic lead signer with the Cromatics and is just doing what come naturally. Unfortunately his popularity doesnt go over too well with James, the leader of rival band Pazzaz. Tempers flare when both bands are scheduled to play the same venue, so James decides to pursue Susan, who is only made more attractive by the fact that she and Deke seem to be fond of each other. Deke and James share many misadventures before the story is brought to its surprising and entertaining conclusion.
