Couldn't put it down

Crime and modern day are not normally the genres I read, but I couldn't put this book down! Fast paced and intriguing. I'm already excited to read the next book she writes.

Have you ever read a book that you just can't put down? Well the colors is that kinda book. From the dark and twisted mind of a serial killer to a hard working independent mother on the case to find the killer. This book is by far the best mystery thriller I have read! It will keep you on your toes and wondering what's gonna happen next. This is a must read!!!

If you are looking for a page-turning read, this is it.

Shal and Rathson are two detectives that have worked together for years. As recently promoted detectives, they are taking on the Mares Skinner, a serial killer no one has been able to stop for years. With many different MOs, the skinner has been able to evade police. The question is, how much longer before the Skinner is caught. Working together and separately, professionally and personally, will Shal and Rathson be able to catch the Skinner?

This author has one of the best character developments I have seen. She poetically sets every scene to help you get really to catch the Skinner yourself.

The author does an incredible job of weaving a story that will keep you engaged and on the edge of your seat. Just when you think you may have everything figured out something unexpected happens and you find yourself saying OMG did that just really happen? If you are a fan of true crime, suspense books, or thrillers I have no doubt that The Colors will captivate you!
