Elizabeth Murray Salawu was born in Atlanta, Georgia, where she still resides today. After graduating high school, she became a licensed master cosmetologist and received a diploma for commercial art and a five years of service certificate from the U.S. Department of Transportation, TSA. She currently works as a transportation security officer for the Department of Homeland Security.

In addition to writing, Elizabeth Murray Salawu enjoys cooking and working on other creative projects.
