About the Author

S. L. Frandle was born and raised in Southern Minnesota. Although he has written other material, mostly educational and technical, this is his first fictional novel. After many years he was finally encouraged by his wife and daughter to finish writing a story he started years ago. With that encouragement as well as the inspiration of other books, he finally decided to finish the dream of spinning an intriguing tale into a work of fiction. With a vast background in education, S. L. Frandle is using that knowledge and finishing a couple children’s books to be published in the future. He currently resides in Lake City, Florida with his wife.

Such a fantastic book!

Never Give Up was such a wonderful read! Took me back to my high school days and all the carefree fun we had in less stressful times. It’s definitely a hard book to put down.

This is a fantastic read written from a time when life was less hectic, before cell phones & electronics. It's full of good times and memories of friends from high school that reunite for a celebration of life for one of those classmates a few years after graduation. The story made me smile as it is very relatable to antics of the late 70s that I participated in myself. Entertaining enough to keep you reading to find out what happens next, exciting, a bit spicy but respectful. I REALLY loved Never Give Up. Now I'm ready for the sequel!

What a story!

I just finished reading "Never Give Up" by S.L. Frandle and let me tell you, it was such an engaging read! From start to finish, the book had me hooked and I couldn't put it down. The story had this captivating quality that kept me fully invested in the characters and their journey. While there weren't any specific standout moments, the overall experience was fantastic. If you're looking for a book that will grab your attention and keep you hooked, I highly recommend checking this book out.
