Lewis has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Information Technology. She is an application analyst. Her hobbies include reading and writing along with working and training her dogs.

I wasn’t too sure what to expect from this book but from the beginning it grabbed hold of me. It’s frank, open, and written from the heart. It took me into her life, the hidden life that few people ever see, the one behind closed doors.
This disease is an enigma; doctors are still learning about it and how/why it affects everyone differently. So far, they have only seen the tip of this iceberg. In C M Lewis’s story, we see the journey of discovery for both Ms. Lewis and for the many doctors she visits over the years. The trial and error, the medical mistakes, the small victories, the alone-ness, the slow path of discovery. This book will take you into the life of someone learning to be her own advocate, searching for survival tactics, the mistakes made and the lessons learned.
The battle is an ongoing, daily struggle for everyone with this “hidden” disease.
