About the Author

Holly Valentine Sherman is an ex-flight attendant with TWA. Since retiring, Holly enjoys skiing, hiking, kayaking, tennis, and dance. Also in her free time, Holly teaches Scottish dancing.

    What a fabulous book!

    The best word to describe this book is ‘uplifting’, not only because Little Coop learns to be independent and soar in the sky but because the greater messsge encourages all children not to let perfectionism and the pressure to be ‘the best’ to get in their way. As a parent and working mom, I can totally relate! I have let that stop me from trying new things too, and I certainly don’t want that self imposed pressure to be passed down to my son. So, I think I enjoyed this book as much as my son! I hope there’s a follow up. I was really happy to take a chance and discover this charming story.

    Even though this is a children's book it contained some very important lessons for "little ones." Not only that, but it was well written and you could tell the author had some first-hand knowledge of had done some research.
