About the Book

Words can be life-giving and magical. There are no limits to where they may take us and how they may transform our thoughts and our lives. Certain defining moments are etched into our memories. The poetry of In Shadowed Bliss celebrates and captures these moments.

In Shadowed Bliss chronicles the spiritual growth and personal realizations of the poet and professor, Alexander Andrews. In sharing these poems with the readers, he effectively transports us through his words to our own moments of suffering and of happiness.

These poems are arranged in four key categories: a childs wonderment, nature and the perfection of its inherent design, love and human desire for affection, and the conflict of urbanization and the environment.
