Storm: The Peace Maker is an intriguing story of magic, mystery, love, betrayal, and friendship. The cruel and power-hungry wolf Dragon Fang is determined to thwart the peace-making mission of White Thunder and his son, Storm, whose birth was predicted in The Book of Truth. Their strength and courage, as well as that of Storms mother, Frankie, are tested as they work to bring peace to their two nations. Filled with adventure and action, the animal characters introduced in this unique tale serve to help children to develop a better understanding of and tolerance for diversity. The multiple twists and turns of the plot also encourage such skills as decision making, problem solving, and creative thinking as young readers follow the adventures of Storm: The Peace Maker.
About the Author
Gloria Jenkins lives in New Jersey with her husband, Samuel. She is the mother of three children and a retired learning disability teacher consultant. She is a presenter for various Black History programs. Her other interests include long distance running and gardening. Gloria Jenkins is a graduate of West Virginia State University. She completed her masters degree at The College of New Jersey. Storm: The Peace Maker is her first published book.
