Oscar The Octopus
This is the story of Oscar’s very first adventure. Oscar is a young octopus. He spends his time with his parents and sister, Octavia. His friends, Mermaid and King Neptune, join him, too.
When we meet little Oscar, we learn that he is dissatisfied with himself and his life. But, Oscar soon faces some serious challenges. Only by being himself, can Oscar save his friends. In his struggle to do what is right, he learns a great deal about the value of who he is and what only he can accomplish for others.
About the Author
Nancy Waite Parke is the mother of three grown children and is a five-time grandmother. In past years, she had been a businesswoman, real estate broker, private pilot, and model. She eventually returned to her first talent and for the last three decades, has embraced the life of an artist in watercolor, acrylics, and oils. She has had a number of exhibits and one-woman shows. Her paintings hang in private collections in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Thailand. She now resides with her husband in Carlsbad, California.
