Marker Mayhem
Marker Mayhem is story about a little girl who loves to draw all sorts of pictures for school and for her mom and dad using colored markers because they come in so many different and bright colors.
One day, as the little girl draws, the marker stops working. Upset, the little girl tries a different marker – and it also stops working. More and more markers quit. What is going on?
When the little girl finds the markers are unhappy with always having to do the same thing over and over, she promises to help. But as the demands become more and more silly, the mayhem is only beginning!
About the Author
L. D. Filippis was that little girl growing up. Her mom and dad would buy her colored markers because she loved to draw! One day her markers stopped working, one after another after another. So this really happened. She wrote the first version when she was five years old. Filippis loves to write stories that fill her mind. She also loves to ride horses, dance, pick pumpkins with her dad, and walk on the beach looking for big shells.
One thing Filippis would really like to do is trap a leprechaun around St. Patrick’s Day. Each year she tries but those leprechauns always seem to get away and make a mess of her room. Maybe she should write a story about them!
