About the Book

Judge: The Angel Dog of Happiness is the delightful story of an orphaned teenage girl named Mya who creates a surrogate family for herself from a ragtag group of animals. Led by an angel dog called Judge, the animals which include two lost dolphins and a cast-aside old horse help each other through lifes trials. Other animals join in along the way and together with Mya form a kind of family, offering support, acceptance, and kindness. Their inspiring tale proves that family and friendship can come from unexpected places.

About the Author

A native of Chicago, author Ellen Catherine Lowe is now based in Tucson, Arizona. She holds a masters degree in creative writing and says this book was inspired by her own dog.
