Black Contemporary and/or Past History 101

Black Contemporary and/or Past History 101 is a coloring book designed to capitalize on the vital importance of history in shaping young peoples views of the world and themselves. This compilation of historical facts emphasizes the hard work that has brought Black people this far and seeks to instill a sense of pride and respect for the creators of that history. Black Contemporary and/or Past History 101 gives full credence to the understanding that all American history is essential and relevant.

J. Abdullah Iloabuba is a native of Harlem, New York, and is active in the Harlem All Star Steel Orchestra and the New Root Community Improvement Association. A retired employee of the United States Postal Service, he is currently completing his bachelor of arts degree at Hunter College.
