J. Abdullah Iloabuba is a native of Harlem, New York, and is active in the Harlem All Star Steel Orchestra and the New Root Community Improvement Association. A retired employee of the United States Postal Service, he is currently completing his bachelor of arts degree at Hunter College.

    It is a very important book and should be on the shelves of all American families because it is an informative concerning the History the African American.

    I recommend the reading of this book, although, it is only a short version of a long and vast History.
