A Touch of America: Memories of an Austrian Fulbright Scholar

Join a European Fulbright scholar as she travels across America! When she is awarded a spot in a distinguished exchange program, Helen, a history and social studies teacher, gets the opportunity to learn about the United States while teaching others about her native Austria. Her adventures span twelve states, from New York and Pennsylvania in the east to Arizona and California in the west. Through her eyes, we learn about the people, wildlife, climates and cultures of post-World War II America and what it was like far a visitor 'to experience A Touch of America.
