A native of Huntington, Long Island (New York), Victoria Tallini-Vega lives in Deer Park, Long Island, with her husband and twin daughters. She is a legal secretary and earned an A. A. at The State University of New York: Farmingdale; she also earned a certificate in childrens writing from the Institute of Childrens Literature in Connecticut.

Along with writing, Victoria Tallini-Vega cares most about spending time with her family. Good, old-fashioned, one-on-one family time, she says. Its the most important thing to me.
