About the Author

Ms. Poulos has lived in Davis, California for thirty-five years and now spends time in Bodega Bay as well. She is a national vice-president of American Women for International Understanding as well as an active member of Davis Sister Cities program, Grange, Fishermans Chapel and other organizations. She enjoys travel, and holds a special place in her heart for the people of Afghanistan, where she lived and taught. She is in private practice with her daughter in Davis.
