Nalyn and the Indigo Pearl
by Melissa Anne Wilson Enter into a world in which great forests rule the earth, in which evil does not exist, and in which trees care for beautiful pearls throughout their lives. An evil wizard, Ominous, has become jealous of these trees for their beauty and power and seeks to destroy their happy lives by spreading that jealousy. Nalyn is given the most beautiful pearl with indigo streaks of light, and the other trees shun her, resentful of their own normal pearls. When Nalyn begins to lose her leaves and becomes ugly, Ominous is convinced that he has won. Will the trees of the forest be able to defeat the Ominous before they lose all their magic? Read Nalyn and the Indigo Pearl to find out what the powers of goodness can do. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Melissa Anne Wilson wrote this story while staying with her mother in the hospital.
