Mother as I Remember Her And the Effect It Had on My Life
by Evangelist Missionary Mary Pritchett
Mother as I Remember Her is a candid and thoughtful reflection on the life and faith of the authors mother, Lucinda, which reflects the wisdom of Psalm 51:10: Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Coming to God later in life, Lucinda raised a large family on her own and trusted God to provide for all of them as she did His work. While this was quite difficult for Ms. Pritchett at times as a child, she too came to a greater understanding of Gods will as an adult, and she testifies to the miraculous changes He has brought about in her life. Her personal witness epitomizes another of her favorite scriptures, 2 Chronicles 7:14: If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
