Despicable Lies

By: Peggy Chernow

About the Book

Darcy and Danielle Coulter, the beautiful twin daughters of a wealthy New York power couple had not spoken to each other in fifteen years…not since something despicable occurred at the boarding school they attended in Richmond, Virginia. It tore them apart, physically and emotionally. As estranged sisters, they lived separate, but interesting lives… one in Boston and the other in Washington D.C. The hurt and anger each felt weighed heavily on them and they made no attempt to reconcile.

The story follows the girls as adults, until, after a series of strange coincidences, they are forced to finally meet face to face at their father’s deathbed. There they confront the lies and deceptions that had caused their estrangement and had so negatively impacted their lives. They learn the convoluted details of their father’s last Will & Testament that will change their lives forever.

The characters are compelling and believable. The reader is instantly caught up in the twins’ emotional turmoil. You will find yourself rooting and sympathizing with either Darcy or Danielle… or more likely, both.
