Decision at Darzanhillon is the story of two people who learn to work together, fight together and love together in a galaxy on the precipice of war. Commander Philip Ritter, of the Confederation Space Forces, divorced and alone, assumes command of the attack destroyer, Valor. His family reputation as tyrants precedes him and puts everyone on edge. He is met by his executive officer, Jama K’Tai: a high-strung cat-like native of Zitan. She has been passed over for the command and fears for her career now that he has arrived. Together they take tentative steps towards a real partnership as the galaxy comes unraveled around them. Old friends turned enemies appear and new friends come together to forge new bonds, find redemption, and reforge friendships long thought over. Enemies are found within the command as well as outside as traitors and self-centered bigots come into conflict with Philip, Jama and their comrades.

Jerry W. Sapp is a former NASA engineer and worked on the Hubble Space Telescope. After leaving NASA, Mr. Sapp worked as an Intelligence professional. He is a pro-choice LGBT+ advocate and a member of the SCA, a world-wide group of medieval recreationists, and an avid follower of all things scientific.
