As Renee A. George sits back and reflects on her life and the different obstacles she has encountered, she decides to turn her tragedy into a triumph and inspire others to persevere. From the time of reflection, death of a loved one, and even the demise of her marriage - these are topics to which her readers can relate when entering these endeavors.

Her ultimate goal is to encourage her readers to overcome things in their lives and to always put God first. He will be with you. He has your back when no one else does and He is in control.

About the Author

Renee A. George was born in Washington, D.C., on March 18, 1962. She is a preschool teacher and a member of First Baptist Church of Glenarden. Her hobbies include all kinds of exercise, dancing, and different types of music. She has a large immediate family, which includes her mother, two sisters, three brothers (two of whom are deceased), her father (also deceased), three adult children (two girls and one boy), and seven grandchildren. Her upbringing moments of trials and tribulations have helped her formulate these meaningful poems.
