About the Author

The mother of two, Jerry B. Hood was inspired to write poetry through her conversations with God. Stemming from these spiritual conversations, she writes of personal experiences; hers as well as others. A native of Shreveport, Louisiana, Ms. Hood currently lives in Baltimore, where she is employed by the State of Maryland and is continuing her education. In her spare time, Ms. Hood enjoys the outdoors, cooking, and singing.
