About the Book

For One and All is a compilation of poetry inspired by Martin Luther King Jr. and other significant figures in black history, including Rosa Parks and Harriet Tubman. The strength and courage these heroes showed is lauded in Ilene Morris work. Also included are poems about family, love, education, and respect.

About the Author

Ilene Morris is a retired teacher. She earned a bachelors degree in elementary education and a masters degree in special education and went on to work for James Vadrick Day Care Center. The divorced mother of two currently resides in the Bronx, where she enjoys reading and writing poetry.
