Julie and Horace: A Love Story of Sorts (I Guess) You Decide follows the romantic misadventures of a young man as he seeks his perfect match. The novel is about settling for less and then realizing that compromising has left you better off. General fiction

Horace, a somewhat aggressive and bewildered fellow in his late 20’s, is supposedly in search of his perfect mate. Ironically, the women that he romantically/sexually pursues are far from perfect, and the one that he completely inadvertently falls for turns out to be, in Horace’s eyes, the perfect match (or in Horace’s words, “Like something off a drawing board”). And, of course, he can have his pick of the less-than-perfect ones, but the perfect one is unavailable. Such is Horace’s luck pretty much throughout the book. On the other hand, Horace ends up with one of the somewhat inferior ones, but finds that, in an unusual way, less is more. Along the way to that conclusion you will come across lots of laughs, crazy arguments (realistically portrayed – for once!), drama, and plenty of, how should I put it, “theatrical” behavior. Much movie, book, and music talk that should appeal to, hopefully, people of all ages. Lastly, this is a book that will challenge you in terms of its somewhat experimental form and content.
