Bridging the Gap introduces us to young Kpadehee, a Muslim from Liberia setting off on the exciting yet overwhelming journey to the United States. This book takes us through his journey—a similar journey taken by many—and the common division between African-Americans and Africans from Africa, and also the division between Christians and Muslims.
About the Author
Alex Dougbowea Tarlue, a native of Liberia, is a building maintenance technician at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He and his wife, Dehconjah, have five children: Prince, Anita, Alex, Kpadehee, and Kimasa.
Alex’s hobbies include reading and writing, sports, telling stories, photography, and travel.
