About the Author:

Terry M. Farmer, P.E. is a licensed professional engineer registered in the state of Kentucky since 1993. Mr. Farmer is also a certified residential appraiser licensed in Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee. Mr. Farmer served twenty-three years in the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet with fourteen of those years in the process of inspections of bridges and culverts. He has appraised property in Eastern Kentucky from 2003 to 2012 and currently does appraisal work in the Louisville, Kentucky area, Southern Indiana, and Eastern Tennessee.

Mr. Farmer is currently a member of the Kentucky Society of Professional Engineers and also holds an SRA Designation granted to him in 2013 by the Appraisal Institute. The Appraisal Institute is a global appraisal organization containing over 25,000 members. Only appraisers who meet stringent education and experience requirements are allowed to hold an SRA Designation.
