101 Conservative Limericks is designed to bring a laugh through clever wordplay and also spark political thought on the more serious ones, if there is such a thing.
These limericks first appeared online (and sometimes in print) in the Dallas Morning News and on the authors The Limerick Guy blog, where they ran regularly for nearly four years, numbering approximately 350 in total. The cream of the crop is within these pages: 101 righter-than-left poems ranging from contemporary headlines like Benghazi and immigration to the final days of the Obamadastrain and the rise of Hillary Dillary Dock.
About the Author:
Bruce Davidson is a Dallas native who currently lives in Carrollton with his wife Sharla. Theyre proud parents of son Daniel (Texas A&M), daughter Emily (University of Michigan) and English bulldog Lucy (adoption, not a blood relative). He is a graduate of U. of North Texas and Texas Wesleyan School of Law. He also sings traditional Christian music with his brothers Scott and Blake, having recorded three CDs. But writing limericks is his passion.
